Take a painting home

The pictures on the walls of Villa Nadezda are not prints. Every one of them was painted by hand on canvas — the seagull on its post above a stormy sea, the bicycle under an autumn tree, the horse in the wheat, the orange tree against a blue wall, the girl on a swing in the clouds, the citrus slices by the dining table.

Any of them can be yours

If one of them catches your eye during your stay, you can take it home for €50. It is a souvenir of Cyprus that is not sold in any shop, and there is only one of each.

How it works

• Tell us which painting you would like — a photo of it on WhatsApp is enough.
• We take it down from the wall and wrap it so it travels flat and safe in a suitcase.
• You pay the €50 in cash or by transfer, whichever suits you, and take it with you on the day you leave.
• The wall does not stay empty: there are more canvases waiting, and new ones arrive every season.
